40 Years
and counting!
As of February, it's been 40 years for me to be involved with this family business. Lots of changes and improvements have occurred in that time. In the past 40 years we've gone from being a dealer of typewriters and electronic word processing machines, to producing mobile business centers to our current line of AV solutions.
The one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to our customers. Our goal has always been to provide you with quality products and to be a trusted partner you can depend on.

We appreciate your confidence in Nomad AV Systems and our products. Here's to another 40 successful years!

Tips, Tricks & Reminders

HDMI/VGA Adapters
Flexible Solutions

A Nomad AV system comes equipped with HDMI and VGA cables as a versatile solution for plugging in a BYOD appliance. The tethered cables are conveniently located within the side slide out shelf, where the personal device can sit when in use.

Using this handy feature is perfect for connecting laptop computers, tablets, smart phones or any other compatible devices to display an image or play audio for the audience.

There are many instances when an adapter may be required to connect a personal device to the system through the provided HDMI cable. However, HDMI is a widely accepted industry standard and adapters are readily available for most devices. Adapters, like the ones shown here, offer an easy way to connect a wide range of personal devices.
On the left is an Apple Lightning digital AV adapter. On the right is a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
Keep in mind that the Nomad system includes a scaler that will bring any image to 1080p. This means that showing images from any device is easy, as the end user will not need to worry about resolution. Any scaling is automatically handled by the Nomad system.
Monthly Option Highlight

 Built-In PC

An option you may want to add to your Nomad is a built-in computer. With the addition of a computer, users can quickly present information and videos from web browsers, installed application or USB storage devices.

Included with a built-in computer option are the keyboard and mouse, as well as a retractable drawer for storage and use. A convenient USB port on the top of the podium is also provided. The built-in computer will have the main technology needed for functionality, the supporting hardware to make it work with the Nomad system, integration labor and cables, control system programming, and video online training.
What’s New!

5-Year Warranty
Full Life-Cycle Support

We've defined the life cycle of a Nomad system at 7 years, so this is a great way to ensure that your Nomad system will stay in good working order throughout the life of that system.
