LT-Blue

Digital AV Podium

The Nomad LT-Blue is an audio visual podium designed by Nomad AV Systems. The LT-Blue is powered primarily using high-quality Crestron components. The unrivaled Crestron components, and Nomad’s reliability and ease of use, guided the engineering of the LT-Blue to let presenters take their presentation to a new level.

Along with all of the great benefits that come from our unique approach to AV design and integration, the LT-Blue offers some unique features.

Fully Retractable/Compact

The efficient use of space in the proprietary design of the LT-Blue furniture allows a minimal footprint for the AV podium while being fully retractable to save space when certain features are not in use.

Face-Forward Presentations

By nature, AV podiums promote face-forward presentations. However, the convenient placement of a built-in confidence monitor allows presenters to review presented images without turning around to look at the big screen.

Ergonomic Layout

The LT-Blue AV podium was designed to place highly interactive devices, such as the control panel, in convenient locations so presenters can use them comfortably without bending or reaching.

Mobile, Fixed or Pivoting

Depending on the base style selected, the LT-Blue can stand on wheels to be shared between rooms, adjustable feet to be kept in place, or a Pivot 180 to quickly re-purpose a room with multiple audiences.

Furniture Features

This proprietary AV podium was specifically engineered to integrate the select Crestron hardware used in Nomad AV Systems and is not sold separately.

Standard Configuration

The standard configuration of this AV podium includes all of the interactive, supporting and peripheral technology commonly found in a fully functional AV presentation solution. Options can be added, removed or substituted to customize this AV podium to meet your specific needs.

  • Interactive Technology
  • Supporting Technology
  • Peripheral Technology
  • Control System Functionality

Interactive Technology

Confidence Monitor

Duplicates the image being shown on the big screen so presenters can maintain a natural, face-forward presentation while having confidence in what is being displayed behind them. The touch-screen confidence monitor also provides an intuitive user interface that allows users to easily control the AV podium.

Document Camera

The 21st century version of the overhead projector…without the transparencies.
The doc cam gives presenters the ability to display any type of non-digitized content in real-time, such as books, newspaper articles, 3D models, etc.

Personal Device Connections (BYOD)

Hard-wired HDMI and VGA cables, and a wireless presentation gateway, give presenters flexible options to present multimedia content from their personal devices such as notebook computers, tablets and smart phones.

Blu-Ray Player

The Blu-ray player gives presenters the ability to play previously recorded content that is stored on CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray discs.

Bose Sound System w/ Subwoofer

The built-in Bose sound system provides deep, clear sound and, in many cases, eliminates the need for expensive audio infrastructure.

Supporting Technology

Audio Distribution

Splits the audio signal to be sent to the internal stereo amplifier and to the output panel for integration with existing audio infrastructure.

HDMI Distribution

Splits and amplifies the HDMI video signal to be sent to the confidence monitor and display device(s) while managing HDCP and EDID communication.

Switcher/Scaler

The switcher/scaler consolidates audio and video signals in order to provide fade-thru-black switching and video scaling of all input sources to avoid resolution issues.

Control Processor

The control processor is the brain of the control system that interprets and distributes the commands entered at the touch screen controller.

Power Distribution

Surge-protecting power strips are used to distribute power to the 15+ devices in the AV podium from a single external power cord.

IP Distribution

A network hub/switch is used to distribute a single Cat 5/6 signal into multiple network connections for several devices throughout the AV podium while managing dedicated IP addresses for each.

Cables

75+ cables of varying length and type (HDMI, network, audio, power, etc.) are used to connect and consolidate all of the devices into one fully integrated AV podium.

Cat 5/6 Transmitter/ Receiver Pair

A room’s cabling infrastructure is dramatically reduced as the HDMI video and RS232 control signals from the AV podium are carried over a single Cat 5/6 cable to a projector or monitor.

Powered Stereo Amplifier

The powered stereo amplifier amplifies the low-power audio received from input sources to drive high-quality sound through the speakers and the subwoofer.

Peripheral Technology

3000 Lumen Projector or Professional-Grade LED Monitor

The LT-Blue comes standard with a 3000 lumen projector as the big screen that allows the audience to view presented images.

A professional-grade, large-format monitor can be substituted. Upgrade price depends on the monitor size selected.

Mounting Hardware for Selected Display Device

The hardware to mount the selected display device to the ceiling or wall is included with the Nomad AV System.

Control System Functionality

Audio-follows-video Source Switching

Audio and video signals are simultaneously switched with the press of a single button.

Volume Controls

Volume controls are present on each menu to ensure that volume up, volume down and mute controls are always quickly accessible.

Blank Image

The image on the big screen can be quickly blanked and restored as the confidence monitor stays active in cases where the visual aid needs to be prepared before it is presented.

Output Display Power Control

The projector or large format monitor can be turn on and off using the touch screen controller at the AV podium.

Device Sub-Menus

Sub-menus that allow the presenter to control the fictions of an input device are displayed as soon as that device is selected as the active source.
