Focusing on 3D Objects

Using the Nomad's Document Camera

The document cameras used by Nomad have a built-in auto focus that typically works well for most 2-dimensional items placed on the platform. However, when placing a 3-dimensional object on the platform, it may be necessary to manually adjust the focus to a specific point on that item.

To manually focus the camera, locate the " Focus + " or " Focus - " buttons on the control panel. Select which button will bring the specific point of the item into focus, then press the button repeatedly to achieve the appropriate level of focus for optimal viewing.

This image shows an example of how a document camera can focus-in on a specific area of a 3D item.

Keep in mind, once the camera has been manually focused, the auto focus feature has been turned off. To turn it back on, simply press the "Auto Focus" button on the control panel.

The streamlined cabinet attaches securely to a large-format monitor cart and provides an easy, all-in-one solution to store and move the AV equipment and accessories. It can hold up to 4 monitors that are typically used by judges, attorneys, witnesses or court staff.

Because the cabinet offers space to consolidate AV equipment, it saves many trips for staff who need to organize and arrange the AV equipment each time it's deployed.

There is one single power cord for the cabinet that supplies power for the video receiver and its large monitor. Additionally the cabinet has an integrated power source for charging ancillary equipment like control panels and wireless listening devices.
